Our Team

Dr. Raymond Devanna, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert. MDT, Director of Professional Development

Area of physical therapy or work with a particular type of patient:  I specialize in orthopedics including upper and lower extremity and spinal rehabilitation, and I enjoy working with a diverse outpatient orthopedic population including competitive and recreational athletes, pediatric and geriatric patients, and post-surgical patients.

Why I became a PT: In college, I loved sports and enjoyed working as an athletic trainer to guide athletes through their recovery back to playing sports.  During that time, I completed an internship at a physical therapy clinic to meet the requirements of the athletic training program, and I discovered my greater passion of working with a much more diverse population. I really enjoy seeing the transformation people go through in the recovery process.  Their personality, their abilities, and the confidence in themselves to take care of their body and grow stronger to be able to do what they love in life. That is what physical therapy is about.  We don’t fix our clients, we teach them and empower them to succeed in their own recovery, and give them the tools to live a healthier life they love.  Seeing a former client in the gym months or years later still exercising and doing things they did not think they would ever be able to do again….that’s the good stuff!

Profession History:
• Clinic Manager and Physical Therapist at Lott Physical Therapy from 2013-Present,
• Orthopedic Residency Training at UT Southwestern 2012-2013,

Personal Information: I met my wife, Jenny, in the summer of 2000 and we were married in July, 2006 after I graduated from Abilene Christian.  She stood by me and supported me through 3 years of physical therapy school and one year of orthopedic residency, and during that time we had our daughter, Daphne in 2011.  I met Dr. Lott while in my orthopedic residency year and had the honor of accepting the clinic manager position in Fairfield, which led to us moving to Navarro County.  Since moving here, we had our son Logan in 2015, my wife has started a business from our home training and selling horses for show jumping, and our kids have enjoyed living the country life!  I love to play golf, fish with my wife and kids, and we enjoy family trips to the beach as often as we can!
