Brittany Wheeler, PT, DPT

Dr. Brittany Wheeler earned her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas in December 2013. She continued to pursue her career in physical therapy and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth in May of 2017.

During her education at UNTHSC, she became a certified balance instructor leading group balance sessions for the elderly population through a program called “A Matter of Balance.” Additionally, she conducted research on the effects of diabetic neuropathy, potential prototypes and interventions for prevention, and management of diabetic ulceration. She presented the clinical findings both at the local level at the Texas Physical Therapy Association annual conference as well as at the national level at the American Physical Therapy Association conference.

Since graduation, she has become a Certified WorkSTEPS provider and plans to obtain her certification as a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist in the Winter of 2019.
